Kyle gets 2nd
Kyle Takes 2nd Place at the Greenebrier Challenge
Kyle and Luke Spisak, members of Team Lake Effect, traveled to Maryland to compete in the 3rd stop of the Cycling Mountian Bike National Cross Country Calendar. This was the first national event for the brothers who have been competitive on the local scene.
After a planned conservative start Kyle took a podium finish with 2nd place in the cat 1 senior division (19 – 24). He finished only 1:04 behind the winner and with a time that would have won all other cat 1 divisions. Luke had a strong start but experienced mechanical trouble with a flat early on that eventually put him out of the race.
They plan more national events this season and are currently doing well in the local OMBC race series.
